After successfully re-tendering, Axiom Design Partners were recently re-appointed to the panel contract for the provision of our specialist services to the Botanic Gardens & Parks Authority (BGPA).
The BGPA is a statutory Authority of the Western Australian State Government within the Environment portfolio and manages two iconic tourism destinations; Kings Park and Botanic Garden and Bold Park.
Kings Park and Botanic Garden is visited by millions of people each year. With its remarkable expanses of unique bushland, tranquil parkland and botanic garden, the Park is the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia. The total area of the Park is 406 hectares (roughly 1,000 acres) and is located adjacent to the Swan River and approximately 1.5 km from the Central Business District of Perth.
Bold Park is an A-class reserve and is one of the largest remaining bushland remnants in the urban area of the Swan Coastal Plain, covering 437 hectares adjacent to Perry Lakes.
Axiom Design Partners have been providing our professional services to the BGPA for over eight years and were officially awarded the original tender to provide Graphic Design services in 2002 and have retained the tender (including extension periods) since.
We have been responsible for developing, implementing and managing the BGPA brand across all available mediums (in partnership with the BGPA) for both Bold and Kings Park. This includes signage, both directional, wayfinding, event, authority and interpretive as well as developing a comprehensive range of visitor and event publications.
We manage both the design and production of all BGPA materials and have forged longstanding relationships with our strategic partners for the manufacture and installation of signage and printing requirements. We have invested considerable time and resources into refining the processes for digital printing of large format signage for the BGPA, ensuring the consistent application of the BGPA suite of colours and that materials selection achieves the precision balance between cost effectiveness and lifespan.
We look forward to continuing a wonderful working relationship fostered over many years of close collaboration with the BGPA and the opportunity to continue to create quality outcomes for this prestigious Authority.
